Moscato Giallo
Moscato Giallo is recognised for its unmistakable aromatic profile.Originally from Greece and imported in the Middle Ages to Trentino by the Venetians, it finds the ideal environment in the mid-hills to best express its varietal characteristics.
Production is somewhat inconsistent due to the vine’s sensitivity to rain and to the phenomenon of “flower drop” or coulure that can occur during flowering. The bunch is rather large, pyramidal, elongated and sparse, with an intense yellow colour when fully ripe. It produces wines that are highly appreciated for their natural aroma and balance, which makes them particularly suitable for pairing with desserts.
