A LAND WITH A VOCATION
In the heart of the Alps, Trentino stands out for its particular vocation for excellent viticulture. From the valley floor up to 850 meters above sea level, from the Mediterranean atmosphere of Lake Garda to the Alpine climate of the Dolomites: a variety of altitudes, 5 macro-vinegrowing areas, diverse microclimates, and over 170 soil types across 5 geological formations create the ideal conditions to grow a wide range of grape varieties, giving each bunch character, complexity and richness of expression.

PRECISION VITICULTURE WITH PICA
The 5,250 winegrowing members cultivate an average of 1.2 hectares of vineyard each: a limited size, which allows for the artisanal, passionate and meticulous care of each individual vineyard. Cavit supports them with expertise and cutting-edge technology thanks to PICA, one of the most advanced technological platforms for precision and eco-sustainable viticulture. The PICA platform monitors Cavit’s vineyards in real time: data collected by dedicated sensors placed in the vineyards is processed and then returned to the winemakers via personalised notifications, guiding each individual winemaker in their daily work. The secret of the Cavit cooperative model is a set of peculiarities that generate unique and irreplaceable value.
OUR VINES
The 6,250 hectares cultivated by Cavit members encompass a rich biodiversity expressed in over 20 different grape varieties, both native—an authentic symbol of the local winemaking tradition—and international varieties, which have found Trentino to be an ideal territory in which to thrive.
