Soils
Valle di Cembra is characterised by an alpine climate and soils that are both volcanic and glacial in nature. Volcanic porphyries are shallow and siliceous, suitable for slightly aromatic white wines. The soils from glacial
deposits are deep, rich in skeleton and structured, ideal for sparkling wine bases.
