Sweet wines
RUPE RE VENDEMMIA TARDIVA
The Late Harvest Rupe Re grapes come from vineyards in Valle dei Laghi, Vallagarina and Valle dell'Adige, grown on medium-hillside slopes on rocky soils. Here, the grapes are left to ripen for a long time in the vineyard, undergoing a natural drying process also favoured by Botrytis Cinerea which, in its noble form, contributes decisively to the quality of the wine. The progressive concentration of sugars and aromatic substances results in an intense and refined wine, with enveloping aromas of dried apricot, peach in syrup, honey and candy floss. On the palate it is rich, soft and harmonious, with an elegant and never excessive sweetness.
