ARÈLE VINO SANTO
The production of Vino Santo represents one of the oldest and most precious wine-making traditions in Trentino, where this wine has been made for over two centuries. By the end of the 19th century it was the protagonist of toasts in the royal courts of Central Europe, particularly in Austria and Germany, appreciated for its extraordinary richness and uniqueness. The name “Vino Santo” stems from the traditional pressing of the grapes during Holy Week, a symbolic event that has always characterised the production of this wine, rich in tradition and with an extraordinary capacity to evolve over time. It is not uncommon, in fact, to find excellent Vini Santi capable of expressing themselves magnificently even after 30 or 40 years of ageing. Arèle Vino Santo Trentino is made from grapes left to dry naturally for many months and pressed in spring, resulting in a precious wine. Over 15 years of ageing results in a complex bouquet reminiscent of honey and toasted dried fruit. In the mouth it reveals the ideal balance between body, sweetness and freshness, offering a particular richness of sensations on the palate.
