BRUSAFER Pinot Noir
Of ancient origins, already cultivated in Roman times, Pinot Nero comes from Burgundy and is the progenitor of the noble Pinot family. One of the most demanding grape varieties of all, it thrives in cool, breezy conditions on hilly terrain at the most suitable latitudes: conditions that are particularly similar in Trentino to its native region. Brusafer is an elegant Pinot Nero but with a "firepower" that is found in its name, inspired by the cannon batteries of the ancient Trentino fortification of the same name. The ageing in French oak barriques adds spicy and incense hints to the cherry notes.

Organoleptic characteristics
Bright garnet red colour with nuances that become evident with prolonged ageing. Complex and elegant bouquet, notes of ripe cherry are combined with spicy aromas and notes of incense. On the palate it expresses a highly balanced structure and a lasting persistence of flavours that enhance each other, giving a silky sensation and a fruity after-taste. A wine that expresses itself with refined elegance.

Ideal as an accompaniment to braised lamb shoulder or back, oxtail and strong cheeses
