Bottega vinai
Merlot
A grape variety native to the Bordeaux area, where, together with Cabernet, it forms the basic blend of some of the most prestigious French wines. It spread to Trentino at the end of the 19th century, where in some areas it found the most suitable environmental conditions for its cultivation. This vine prefers well-ventilated low-hill areas with calcareous-clayey soils. Aged in French oak barriques and Slavonian oak barrels, this wine develops complex aromas, with notes of red fruit blending with hints of vanilla from the wood.
