Bottega vinai
Marzemino
A historic grape variety of Vallagarina, Marzemino, it is deeply rooted in this area, where it has found ideal conditions to best express its character. Its origins appear to date back to Dalmatia, from where it would have arrived in Trentino during the rule of the Serenissima Republic of Venice. Its fame also spans the history of music thanks to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who, in Don Giovanni, cites the famous “excellent Marzemino”, which at the time was proposed in a soft and enveloping version. Today it is mainly vinified in a dry style, maintaining a gentle and balanced personality. This wine presents itself on the nose with intense hints of violet and ripe cherry, enhanced by the ageing in stainless steel. The moderate acidity, in addition to the delicate tannicity, make it particularly harmonious and round.
